Happy Sauna

No other spa can beat Happy Sauna in terms of bang-for-buck. The only problem with this place is that there's no showroom from where you can choose your attendant.

In exchange of a showroom, each girl is assigned a number. Then, you can pick one of the numbers (each representing a girl) in the reception counter. If the girl is already taken, you won't see her number in the reception counter. Though this system may be crude, it works and makes sure that each girl gets an equal share of customers.

But thanks to the internet, Happy Sauna patrons no longer have to play russian roulette every time they visit this place, because they can just exchange the numbers of the girls who give great service and which numbers to stay away from, effectively rendering the numbering system obsolete. I'm sure that there are other reasons why there is no aquarium, such as the supposed presence of an ordinance banning aquariums and to at least make this look a little like a legit spa.

Cubao Sauna comes from the same people who brought you Happy Sauna but at a little cheaper rate. Just like in that establishment, there is no aquarium or showroom to choose your attendant.

Top Royal

Top Royal is located beside Hap Chan Tea House near Ongpin St. in Binondo so it should not be very hard to find. It has the same owners as Barcelona in Dasmarinas St. but has lower prices.

Based on my ocular inspection, the quality of the girls is almost the same as in Barcelona so go here if you are on a tight budget or better yet, check all the p aces in Binondo first to look for a girl to suit your tastes.

At the time of my visit, it was an early Monday afternoon so this may have affected the quality of girls I saw since most of the better looking ones are probably on the night shift. I didn't like what I saw but maybe I just have high standards so just look at the showroom yourselves.

Barcelona Health Centre

Barcelona Health Centre is one of two massage parlors remaining in the Binondo area. The other one is Top Royal Health Center and they are owned by the same people so don't be surprised to see the same faces.

Coming from Jones Bridge, make a right on the corner immediately after the Mini Stop. This is after Escolta St. (Savory) and before Dasmarinas St. It is also possible to turn right at Dasmarinas St. and then just make another right turn.

Parking may be a problem here especially during peak hours but the area is relatively safe so no need be afraid that your car's side mirrors might go missing. A long flight of stairs up is required to get to Barcelona. Inside, the place seems more classy than expected although its old. The showroom is pretty big and although there are definitely more ugly ones and only a selected few who fit my criteria, my suggestion is just to go there because you might get lucky and chance upon some good-looking ones.

Kremlin Spa

Kremlin is the newest MP along Quezon Avenue. It's operated by the same guys who brought us Air Force 1, Classmates and Flight 168 so it has some pedigree. The facade and facilities look great and its competitors simply pale in comparison. The showroom though needs a lot of improvement, for the price you would expect quality to be top-notch but unfortunately only a few really caught my eye. Recently, prices have gone down to 800 for basic room during promo hour to compete better with others so maybe I'll try this out next time.

Wilderness Health Zone

Wilderness is located inside Heartbeat KTV. Just like Starfleet, this MP has a theme and to get to the showroom, you need to go through some Wilderness so its really impressive the amount of effort they went through to make this place unique from other MP. Maybe this is the reason why rates here are the highest in Quezon Avenue. The showroom is fairly large so you can be sure there will be someone who will suit your fantasy.

Sylvanus Health Zone

Sylvanus is the MP of Pegasus. It is located on the basement so you have to go down a flight of stairs before you can get there. This is one of the safest MP to go to because it is owned by the Pegasus group which operates many MP and KTV. It is also one of the most ubiquitous and popular MP. Parking may be a problem during peak hours and the basic rooms don't have showers and are small. But there are some good choices available here and they never disappoint.

Starfleet

Starfleet is owned by the same guys that bought us Pegasus, Sylvanus, Palacio Don Pedro, etc., The place has its own parking area on the second floor so that should not be a problem.

There are three tiers of attendants to choose from as well as three types of rooms. These are Deluxe, VIP and Presidential. With Deluxe, you only get a room and have to use a common shower and toilet area. But the cost is just 650 for the room and 1000 as tip. With VIP, you get a better selection and a room with a toilet and shower but with a corresponding higher price. Finally, with Presidential you also get a Wet Thai massage (Body-to-body massage)

This is one of the more impressive places I've been to and they really have a lot of attendant available so you'll surely find someone who'll satisfy your every desire.

Flight 168 is the massage parlor arm of the high-class KTV, Air Force One, which is located on the top floor while this one is on the basement. These guys also own Classmates and Kremlin on Quezon Avenue.

Parking is very abundant as this place has its own parking area. There are three tiers of rooms available which are appropriately called Economy, Business and First Class. There are also two tiers of girls here so make sure to check them out both.

This size of this place is also impressive compared to other massage parlors. Overall, you can either go here or at the Starfleet nearby but either way, I'm sure you'll be going home very happy and relaxed.
